About Eschatol
Eschatol was formed in Chicago in the fall of 2005 by Jesse Hautau, Jim Benton, and Justin Siddons. Phil Kalas joined the band in the summer of 2006 after moving back to Chicago from California.
An instrumental rock band, Eschatol employs intricate drum beats, melodic and ambient guitar textures, and driving low end to create diverse musical landscapes.
Eschatol has been playing shows throughout Chicago since the summer of 2006 and has performed at venues including The Double Door, The Note, and the U.S. Beer Company. The band recorded a four song demo with Andy Bosnak at The Playground Studio in May 2006, and is currently composing new material and playing shows throughout the Chicago area.
